Where were you on V E day?

I was a sergeant in the A.T.S. stationed in Hyde Park, London with 528 Heavy Ack Ack Battery, and was among the crowds outside Buckingham Palace shouting “ We want the King”. The Royal Family duly obliged by coming out onto the Balcony.

£80 was raised for the Village Hall at this musical event
